Apprentice Responsibilities

Apprentice Responsibilities

Apprentices have the same duty of care as everyone else and must not interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of health, safety and welfare. The Health and Safety (Training for Employment) Regulations 1990 extends the duties required of employers to Apprentices. For example, an Apprentice must take reasonable care to avoid injury to themselves and others during their training activities and to co-operate with employers and colleagues.
